Mental Fitness is a
Lifelong Practice
Once we understand Mental Fitness and have built our mental muscles, it is important to keep them in shape.
Here are some structured Mind Workouts which can be used to start building mental muscles but ultimately the intention is to bring practice into daily habits. So for example, take time to notice the sound of the kettle boiling, texture of phone in hand, the feeling of your brush as you clean your teeth etc. These are simple ways to practice and maintain your mental muscles without building in extra time in your day.
Mind Workouts
A Mind Workout is a simple physical practice.

Have a go at this short practice using breath or the others below which use sound or touch.
We use different senses to help become aware of the present moment. This calms the mind and results in building the self-command mental muscle.

With more practice, the stronger mental muscles will become. Enjoy the practice and notice what feels different afterwards.
