Mental Fitness is a
Lifelong Practice

Once we understand Mental Fitness and have built our mental muscles it is important to practice to keep them in shape.

Here are some structured Mind Workouts but ultimately the intention is to bring practice into daily habits. So for example, when walking take a few minutes to focus on the present moment.  Notice the sound of the kettle boiling, texture of phone in hand, the feeling of your brush as you clean your teeth etc.  These are simple ways to practice and maintain your mental muscles without building in extra time in your day.

Mind Workouts

A Mind Workout is a physical practice to start training your mental muscles.

Have a go at this short practice using breathe or the others below which use sound or touch.

We use different senses to help become aware of the present moment.  This calms the mind and results in building self-command mental muscle.

With more practice the stronger mental muscles will become.
